It's Britney Bitches!

I'm back and my oh my I've missed you all!! I needed a break. I know that sounds odd since I've only just started this blog. But truth be told I have another vanilla blog that I've written for almost two years. Its boring, you wouldn't like it. Promise.

No blogging or reading blogs for over 3 months. ::sigh:: I've had a lot going on in my life (ummm, like who doesn't) and just couldn't juggle everything at once. My real world life takes precedence when this happens. Although believe me I'd much rather live in my 'puter world some days.

So I'm back. And I want to talk about Britney!! Britney's back bitches!! I'm not a huge over the top in a gay man type of way crazy for her BUT.......

There is something about this video that is HAWT!!! She looks fucking amazing. The first outfit she's wearing in the video makes her nom nom nom yummy!
Honestly I could give two shits about what she does outside of making music and hawt videos. And at least it doesn't sound like a remake of any of Madonna's songs.

::Cough::GAGA::Cough::

"If I said I want your body now
Would you hold it against me?"

Would you hold it against me?? ;)

December 1st

I'm going away for a couple of weeks to see my kid and spend Thanksgiving with her since she can't come home for the holiday. That being said, I'm 99.9% sure I'll not be posting in this time period. No HNT's and No random thoughts.

I won't rule out a visit or two to your blogs though. =) It really depends how friendly your blog is on my iPhone. Some tend to pull up easier than others.
Now commenting is another story alltogether as its a can-o-worms when trying to do it on a phone!

Just maybe while I'm away I'll be able to sneak away and snap a pic or two for Dec 3rds HNT post. Afterall where I'm going is deep in the heart of our country. so I might be inspired.

I'll be back! So don't forget about meeeee!

Have a Happy Thanksgiving with your family or whoever you spend it with.

If I get lucky I'll run into these cowgirls where I'm goin! ;)

Or him, ::gulp:: Pecs, Abs, Bulge...I'm ready for my ride. WoW.

Confession

I have a confession. I love video games and have since I was a kid. I woulda kicked your ass at the arcade back in '78 playin Galaga, Pac Man, Donkey Kong or any pinball machine. My favorite back in the day......Space invaders. Oh how I loved that game! I would beg my mother for a couple of quarters and then ride my bike all the way to the 7-11 to play. Two quarters would keep me going for hours. Yup, I was that good. ;)

I beat every Mario Bros game made up till about 10 years ago. I will school you in Crash Bandicoot, Cart Racing or the regular games.

Madden is a piece of cake; too easy. And Tiger Woods is no match for me on the pixelated greens.

My new obsession: Call of Duty - Black Ops. Its the one series of games I can't conquer. And it pisses me off. Plus there are zombies. I.Hate.Zombies.

I will beat it. And I have until Christmas to get proficient so I can school my kid's ass while she's home on leave. She's a flippen pro at this game series. I really just want to hold my own. Its embarrasing when I can't play as well as her. lol

If you haven't seen a video game since the 80's or even the 90's take a look at how far they've come. Unreal visually.

I wanna win!!

I Miss You

As a child it was another day off school. We spoke of my great-grandfather who was in a war and roamed the countryside in Europe blessing the troops and giving last rights to the dead and dying as an enlisted Episcopal Priest. I grew up in a small town so we had a parade every year for Veterans Day. All the old Vets would dress up in their freshly pressed uniforms and march down the main street. Although I didn't know what it was I was feeling as I watched these men pass by me on the street, I know now it was Pride.

I couldn't understand why I would get all choked up when they played our National Anthem or America the Beautiful. I know now it was Pride. I still cry when I hear the National Anthem played.

My oldest brother was in the Navy. He is 11 years older than me so when he left I was only 7 years old and didn't quite understand where he was going and why. I just knew he left for really long periods of time and missed most of our holidays and other siblings birthdays. I understood much better what he did when we went to NY Harbor and got to go on his ship for OP Sail in '76. Afterall I was 11 then. I remember seeing him waiting for us when we boarded the Carrier. He was wearing his dress whites which looked So Important to me. When I finally got to hug him, I cried. I once again couldn't figure out why I was feeling this way and crying. Sure I had missed him but I know now it was pride.

I've always had a respect for our military and gave them the kudos they've always deserved. I know without our Veterans past and present, We Would Not Be Free or the Greatest Country on Earth. Thats how I feel about it and no one will ever change my mind. The soldiers, sailors and airmen are our savoirs. They do not get to choose where or when they go into battle. They are told where and when and they follow orders. That is all there is to it. They deserve my respect because every last one of them has earned it. A whole lot have paid the ultimate sacrifice so I may live in freedom. I will honor them by loving my Country and never giving up on her.

Aside from my brother being in the military I really had no connection to the life and what it entailed. I was young when he was enlisted. I went for weeks and didn't think of him. Sounds cold and callous, but I was a little kid and had more important things to do. Like build forts in the woods and play flashlight tag with my friends.

The proudest day of my life was the day I gave birth to my daughter. I wasn't proud of me, I was proud of her. It's really unexplainable unless you have one of your own.

The second most proud day of my life was when I watched her graduate from bootcamp almost two years ago. Talk about a blubbering mess. Her actual two year anniversary in the military was this past Nov 5th. 2 years down, 4 to go.

My eyes have been glued wide open in the last two years when it comes to military life and what that life entails. My heart aches for all the military wives/husbands and children who miss their loved ones. I do understand now.

I haven't gotten real personal on this blog (except pics lol) so I guess this would be that post. My kid and I are beyond close. We've been best friends since the day she was born. I was a single parent and she was an only kid. A better kid and best friend I couldn't of asked for. She is a gem. The dog tag I wear in a lot of my pics is one of hers. I wear it everyday, it's a way of keeping my baby close to my heart.

I Miss You

I miss you in the morning,
I miss you late at night,
But I know what you are doing
Is good and just and right.

You’re always in my thoughts;
I hope that you can see
I’m proud of you for serving
Our country, God, and me.

And when you’re home again
I won’t miss you anymore,
But I’ll always admire your courage
For fighting in this war.

By Joanna Fuchs

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all those Veterans that have served and are serving our Great Nation. Your sacrifices are not forgotten and we are a Free Nation because of you. May you all come home safe to your families.

To those that will serve I ask that you don't listen to some in our government and current society that devalue honor, duty, heroism, patriotism and your willingness to serve your Country.

HNT - Docs

Ugh. Winter is here in SoFla. I'm exagerating. It's not really here yet but its coming and we got a smidgeon of a taste over this past weekend. Temps in the low 50's is not my cup of tea. I live in a warm, tropical climate for a reason. I did my time up north sloshing through sleet and snow as a kid. If I never see snow again, I'm ok with that. No, really I am.

The only good thing about the chilly weather is I get to break out my Doc Marten's. And there is nothing like a broken-in pair of Doc's.
I think this pair has actually seen a mosh pit or two back in the day. In fact I'm sure of it.

ClickMyDocs

No worries, the warm weather is back. In fact it should be a beach weekend coming up. Gotta get mah tan on!
Hope you're all enjoying your weather, wherever you are! ;)

Happy HNT! Make sure you stop by Os and check out everyone!

So Wet It's So Tight

[Chorus:]
Stacks on deck
Patron on ice
And we could pop bottles all night
Baby you could have whatever you like (you like)
I said you could have whatever you like (you like)
Yeahh
Late night sex
So wet it's so tight
I'd gas up the jet for you tonight
And baby you could go wherever you (you like)
I said you could go wherever you like (you like)
Yeahh

I absolutely believe that re-makes of some songs are better than the origionals. This is probably the most recent, best example I have. I liked this song a lot when T.I. first released it. But just the normal love of a song that lasted the normal amount of time which for me is until my next favorite song is released. That could be 2 days or 2 weeks. Just depends.

I am completely enamored by Anya Marina's version. The song is so so so much more sexy when she sings it. I found it months ago and its STILL on the main rotation of my iPod. Its got staying power. ;) I like staying power!

Here are a couple of other great remakes:

Obadiah Parker re-makes Outkast's - Hey Ya.

Haley of Paramor re-makes Kings Of Leon's - Use Somebody

Tell me your favorite remake! I'm looking for some new music to dig on.

Hope your weekend was lovely. I sat on the beach for a couple of days. w00t!

HNT - Let It Rain

This song is appropriate. Very. The boobage in it is appropriate too. ;) Listen while you read along.

For the second time today in as many months I've been caught in the rain while riding home from work on my Vespa.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuudgggge.

Its only 5 miles but the whole ride is on Federal Hwy in Fort Lauderdale. At Rush Hour and it's the beginning of tourist season. Yay me!

My bad for not paying attention to the forcast and impending downpours. Its November! It's not supposed to rain every afternoon in November.
I might have picked a different shirt had I known as well.

White t-shirt + Black bra + pouring rain = Rush hour wet t-shirt ride. Ugh. How embarrasing.

Slick, err, I mean click.

You're welcome Fort Lauderdale. I think.

Happy HNT! Make sure you stop by Os and check out everyone playing this week!!

Happy Halloween

Hey all! Its been a crazy ass month and I'm tryin to keep my head above water. At work, home and everywhere else. I'm in sales, well, they (my company) call it sales but I don't like too. If you asked what I sold, I'd have to say, Humans. Sounds creepy huh? Yeah, it is. And if you've ever been in sales you know what the last week of the month is like. Sucktastic Pressure Cooker is probably the best way to describe it. Well, thank goodness the months over. 22 more days and I get to spend a whole 8 days with my kid And Miss The End Of November At Work. I'm livin for it at this point. Cant flippen wait.

I also had an HNT ready but wasn't feelin it for some reason. I'll save it for next Halloween. ;) My 'puter is working. The anti-virus software I was using found the fucker trojan horse and killed it. Mostly. I think its still around so I'm gonna have my buddy lend me a flash drive so I can pull my iTunes and pics off, then I'm gonna reformat the hard drive. I have a Vista disk so I'll just put that back on it. Even though I hate Vista. Meh, whatever. lol

Today was a shitty, rainy day which was actually a good thing. I finally sat on the couch and did nothing but watch tv and play on the web a bit. I Stumbled some, I Facebooked some, I watched football and I just fuhked off all day. Its been nice to not have to be somewhere or completing some project or working out.

I've found some fun stuff on the web today and in honor of Halloween I'll share 'em.

Nightmare Before Christmas is my favorite Tim Burton movie as well as Halloween movie, even though its about Christmas. lol (confusing much??)
This is pretty cool. And I really dig Marilyn Mansons version of this song.

And our friend Spikey (Jamie - Remember from here) and his friends did Rocky Horror last night. I didnt get to see the show as it was at a club up north of here. Here's a couple of the highlights though. ;)
Crushin!!!

That would be Maverick on the left and Gene Simmons on the right. "Maverick" is my baby girl. Yes, she makes a hot boy doesnt she. lol

Hope you all had a great Halloween! Muahs. =)

HNT - Another New Tat

My first tattoo was a chameleon on my hip. I got him when I was around 23 years old I think. He was on my hip so my parents wouldn't see it. My mom, back in the day, thought any girl with a tattoo was a slut.

o.O

I shoulda been so lucky!! lol

Anyway I got away without them seeing the tat for a good 5 years before I was found out. Mom wasn't really pissed at that point, just mildly annoyed. You see my younger sister, G, had already paved the way for slutty daughters who aren't really slutty by getting one on her ankle. G doesn't do anything subtle and she certainly wouldn't get a tattoo and hide it!

About a month ago I decided I didn't like this tat I had of Mr. Chameleon on my hip anymore so I started on a coverup. The first part is this hibiscus. There is more to come but I'll wait till it's done before I give away what the completed project is going to be. Just know its going to include my side up my ribcage.
Yes, this little thing hurt, I can't even imagine what the ribcage is going to feel like. Ugh.
If you look closely at the bottom of the tat you can still see Mr. Chameleon. He'll always be there hiding out in my hibiscus. I kinda like that.

Go ahead. Click it for the whole tat.

Happy Half-Nekkid Thursday!
Go on over to Os and check out everyone playing this week.

Drive You All Night

This Might Just Be The HOTTEST Song Evah.
Just sayin.
This song cums. I swear it does.
(read along while she sings....you'll see)
If you want this
if you want this
if you want this, you're gonna have to ask
nicely please
yeah if you want this
you're gonna have to ask me
you're gonna have to ask me

Whatever you want
I'll give it to you
I'll give it to you slowly
'till you're just begging me to hold you
ya whatever you want
whatever you want

but you're gonna have to ask me
Your mouth waters
stretched out on my bed
your fingers are trembling
and your heart is heavy and red
and your head is bent back
and your back is arched
my hand is under there
holding you up

I'll hold you up
and drive you all night
I'll hold you up
and drive you baby 'till you feel the daylight
I'll hold you up
and drive you all night
I'll hold you up
and drive you 'till you feel the daylight
that's right
that's right

In the kitchen
in the shower
and in the back seat of my car
I'll hold you up
in your office
preferably during business hours
'cause you know how I like it when there's people around
and I know how you like it
yeah I know how you like it
I know how you like it when I tease you for hours

I want, NO, I NEED someone to do this to me.
I want someone to
Drive.Me.All.Night.
